The Mars Mission

The year is 2030, ten years after the end of
the Moonbase Project. Mars has been targeted for exploration, but
two previous attempts to construct a permanent base have failed.
Investigations have found evidence of a malevolent alien presence the
military has code-named Scorpio. Colonel Matt Mason, retired
commander of Moonbase, has been called upon by former colleague and
military intelligence liaison Joe Storm to spearhead the mission to create
Marsbase 3. Joined by old friends Doug Davis and Jeff Long, Storm's
daughter, Elizabeth, enigmatic alien ally Callisto, and his own estranged
son, Matthew, Mason has brought together an international team of
specialists to establish a permanent presence on Mars, and discover the
truth about Scorpio...
